About Mad River Snow

Mad River Snow, an affiliate of Mad River Lifts, provides general contracting and construction management services to the resort industry. President, Jeff Robinson has over 35 years of experience in commercial and residential construction as a licensed General Contractor and, in the ski industry, installing and maintaining cable transportation systems. He has served as a Construction Supervisor for Lietner Lifts USA, Alpine Cable and Construction, Garaventa CTEC, and Doppelmayr. Jeff has also been a contractor and held senior management positions in commercial development and property management companies.

With our construction partner in British Columbia, we provide design/build services for log, post and beam, and timber frame structures to resorts throughout North America. We serve as General Contractor or Construction Manager to construct base lodges, ancillary buildings, condominiums and single family homes of all sizes.

We offer custom log homes from cozy log cabins to massive structures of over 16,000 square feet. Creative designs for lodges and profit centers ensure a memorable guest experience. Each structure is built to exceed the exacting standards of the industry. Each log is hand peeled and hand crafted by skilled craftsman working with the finest logs selected from forests throughout British Columbia. We are experienced with complex construction challenges including remote areas and challenging terrain.
